SureStay Plus by Best Western Plano

Edit for response: (I was not promptly helped. I was told that I had to go down to get the towels and the toilet paper.) My review is accurate and unbiased. This was my experience with the hotel. I do understand that you may not like what I had to say, but unless you take these reviews seriously and make changes, nothing will improve. The only positive to this trip was the sweet Mexican lady that was in charge of breakfast during the week. She made the stay bearable. Other than that, it was not a good stay. The second floor smelled like marijuana the entire 5 night stay that we were there, the employees were rude, and housekeeping seems to do the bare minimum. The strangest thing was when we came to the hotel and noticed all of our towels were taken but not replaced. The front desk said I had to request housekeeping to have it. Why would they go in to just take towels then?? So weird. Well I I did finally request housekeeping and it was done very sloppy. I will say that I gave them attitude about the towel situation but I personally apologized the next day. They just looked at my like I was stupid. Other things that went wrong (treadmill did not work, water in the gym was off, coffee had things coming out of it, room was dirty when we arrived, and no outside seating) I will not give them any more business. Very disappointed in the their level of professionalism and gratitude for their customers.

Unfortunately, the conditions of the room were unacceptable and did not meet reasonable standards for cleanliness or comfort. Upon entering the room, there was a strong foul odor and noticeable humidity throughout. The bathtub contained hair and was visibly dirty, making it unfit for use. Additionally, the bed headboard and the nightstand were dirty, further showing the poor upkeep of the room. Overall, the condition of the room made the stay extremely unpleasant and unsuitable. Even with that said the hotel clerk would not come to the room to see the condition of the room and would not give us a refund. Horrible customer service they robbed us of our money, my wife had to stay one night due to it being so late and had no other option. She went to a Jehovah's witness convention. Even tho she said only one of the three nights they still would not give us a partial refund. This place is horrible and will never go there again.

This hotel does not seem like it is in the pictures. When I got there the sheets were dirty, curtains were dirty, broken light, microwave was filthy, dead bugs in the closet, , the front desk person had an attitude because I asked to change the room. Which did not make a difference because it was still the same. I ended up leaving the hotel and the front desk lady name mehak. This was the worst experience I had with any hotel. they are liars saying I stayed in fo 3-4 hours when it was an hour an a half while being on the phone with the bank. Bulbs were broken but they want to say it was properly clean? That’s what they call clean i guess lol when there’s other reviews stating beds were dirty too.

I would never stay here again. We had to change the first room we checked into because it appeared to be blood stains on the curtains and shams. The phone was also not working. The next room we changed to was okay however we didn’t have towels to shower and the lamp shade had stains on it. Next, when we left to get food, we came back to an ambulance and fire truck outside! We were told a woman had suffocated, but survived! What?! We saw suspicious activity multiple times and then there were dogs everywhere, two of which were not on leashes. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in my life. Definitely would not recommend.

We’ve read the reviews before booking our stay and some were great and others not so much. We took our chances since it was a 2 night stay and we would only be there to sleep. Our first night the pool is set to close at 10pm! There were adults and kids (teens) rowdy and so loud they kept my infant awake most of the night. Mind you this was way past midnight and the receptionist did nothing about it! The hallways were humid and smelled like marijuana! Room service didn’t bother to clean our room but took the extra towels we grabbed?! Also, we went down for a late coffee run. As we’re waiting by the lobby, a man randomly stole some SNACKS and the front desk lady took off running after him while there were people about to check in! It’s dangerous and she could have let him go to prevent anything from happening and protecting their guest. The area of the hotel was decent but definitely sketchy! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! They also added a $50 security deposit with it being refunded after our stay. Our loss and definitely THEIR GAIN! Stay away and spend the extra money for a more efficient hotel and service!
