High Hill Resort Community

High Hill Resort is a lovely surprise among the pines of east Texas. I came here for a ladies’ weekend based on a recommendation from a local friend. We stayed in the “barn suite,” which was casual but with all the right lux touches - towels, robes, bedding, etc. The customer service was friendly, attentive & excellent. We enjoyed a generous continental breakfast and then a day at the pool. This was a relaxing and beautiful weekend. We will be back - probably to stay at one of the gorgeous vacation homes with private pool & beach!

What a lovely family friendly resort! Sharon and Jason Romano were on site during our visit and provided so many extra touches including a toy and stickers to our little girl at dinner. She loved the live music, a harpist who played during dinner. The pool is just lovely and the food is incredible. We were blown away by all the staff who went out of their way to accommodate us. Tyler is also very close if you want to make a visit. We would also imagine couples getting married here as the grounds and staff would be incredible to work with. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ High Hill Resort is truly a hidden gem in Texas! Jason & I stayed in one of their beautiful bungalows, The Great Southern, and from start to finish our experience was incredible. The bungalow was gorgeous, comfortable, and felt like a true escape. Dinner at their restaurant Côte was a highlight—we had the duck magret, osso bucco, and finished with the Buttercake, which was absolutely unforgettable! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the service was top-notch. What excites us even more is the vision for the full Mediterranean-style resort community they’re building. With villas, a white sand beach, boutique-style Topgolf, pickleball, shopping, dining, and so much more on the horizon—it’s clear this is going to be one of Texas’ premier destinations. Whether you’re looking for a weekend getaway, a vacation rental, or even an investment opportunity, High Hill Resort is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are looking for an adult getaway!! Beautiful country setting in rural East Texas. Last year I spent 6 days in Palm Beach at a 5 star resort. I enjoyed my time this year much MORE at High Hill Resort. It’s quaint and quiet with the most friendly staff, wonderful accommodations and the food is fantastic!!! The brunch is unmatched. Chef makes the most delicious scones I’ve ever eaten and the caesar salad with capers is unbelievable!!!! Not only is the food PHENOMENAL the owners and staff are too. An unexpected DELIGHT with the perks of a 5 star hotel/resort. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a weekend getaway for an individual looking to unwind, a girls weekend or a couples getaway!!! I will be booking another trip same time next year.

Had several poor interactions with the owners, they are not friendly. Rooms had insect issues, AC didn't work, both of the main owners had bad attitudes. They are money minded people and don't really care about customers. Would not recommend.
