SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dallas Richardson/University Area

The SpringHill Suites in Richardson/University Area is one of the nicest SpringHill Suites I've ever stayed in...especially for the price! The lobby area was nice and clean, check in process was quick and the rooms were immaculate. They even had West Elm furniture in the rooms. The room was spacious, with a king size bed, and a separate desk/sitting area. It was incredibly clean and a well kept up property.

The hotel was just okay, newer rooms, pretty okay bar (Closes way too early) The manager was poor at communicating, I was charged a smoking fee without even been notified. The manager and hotel staff are way too eager to charge smoking charges, even when I don’t smoke and I didn’t smoke In the room. I had a guest who smoked outside and they allegedly said the person’s smell followed them back to the room and there was a non existent smell. I just feel they are very money hungry and this is my worst Marriott experience by far. Overall this hotel doesn’t have much to offer and my experience with the manager made it works. The breakfast is also horrible and has no variety. Unless this is booked for me, for free I would never go back there and I’d advise you to do the same and not visit.

Great place. The staff was awesome the breakfast was really good the kids enjoyed the Texas shaped waffles. The rooms we had were big and enjoyed the fire pit at night.

Joni at the front was simply amazing! Customer service was top tier the moment we walked in! Room was good but the bathroom toilet had used tissue in it. Joni supported us as best as she could once she was notified of the bathroom issue.

The hotel is so neat and tidy!! We had a slight issue that was addressed with ease and compassion!! Ms. Johnnie was soooooo sweet and courteous throughout our stay and her energy was so welcoming! She's the cherry on top!
