I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I paid for an extension of my stay on Saturday 01/03/2026, and the charge went through successfully. However, the hotel refused to honor the extension and offered no reasonable resolution. Being charged for a service that is not provided is unacceptable. This experience showed a lack of professionalism and customer care. I would advise future guests to be cautious. What made this situation worse was the manager’s refusal to complete a simple template required by the booking platform I used so I could receive a refund for the unused stay. This form was the only step needed to resolve the issue, yet the manager declined without providing a valid reason or alternative solution.
We stayed here for about $10 cheaper per night then other hotels in the immediate area. I got sick for 3 days afterwards. Did I get sick because of this places poor cleaning practices? I don't know. If you like gambling, for the price of two MegaMillions tickets you can take the same bet and have a much better chance of winning though. If you're staying here to save a little money, don't. Spend a little more and have a much better experience. The difference in quality between this place and Holiday Inn is much, much greater than the price of Cheerios and an local grocery store version. Aside from the dead animal, hazardous/dangerous room conditions complete with at least two OSHA violations, and rude service, we were also charged for an additional two days stay. Can you say money per night here? Yes. Will you also get around $150 tied up in erroneous charges for over a week? Also yes. The front desk and corporate, after around two hours of calls and conversations (not including 3 emails) over the course of a week, have all confirmed that in order to get our money back, we'll need to talk to a general manager. Corporate will never be able to get this person on the phone. The front desk will never be able to get this person on the phone. If you're there in person, this guy is in a meeting that perpetually ends in 20 minutes. If you wait that 20 minutes, don't worry, they'll be out of the meeting in a short 20 minutes. I am utterly convinced every staff member of this corporation from the bottom to the top is suffering from a Mandela Effect where they believe a general manager of this location exists. No one can get a hold of this guy. Not you, not corporate, not staff on site. He's a figment of their collective imaginations. My best guess is that he only exists on paper for tax purposes, so that the IRS and local court system can't pin anything on anyone when this place inevitably gets shut down for code violations.
I had a very disappointing experience. When I checked out this morning, I accidentally left my Apple MagSafe battery (worth around $100) in the room. I realized this shortly after reaching home and called the hotel around 10:57 AM. I was told they would check and get back to me since checkout was busy, but I never received a follow-up. I called again in the evening, and they allowed my friend to check the room. The item was not there. I also double-checked my bag and car, and it’s definitely not with me. The staff said they checked with housekeeping as well, but the answer was simply “no.” If it’s not with me, it could only have been left in the room. Mistakes happen—forgetting an item is human—but the lack of proper follow-up and accountability was frustrating. Once an item is gone, it seems there is no effort to recover or return it, even if found. Please be very careful and double-check the room before leaving. I spent $50 for one night and ended up losing an item worth $100.
I have never been so disappointed with a hotel in my life. After driving 16 hours to get here, I expected something decent based on the photos online — but those pictures are completely misleading. The building is old, the hotel smells like urine, and the overall environment is extremely unpleasant. On top of that, the staff made me feel looked down on, which added to an already terrible experience. If you’re looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay, please take my advice and choose somewhere else. This hotel is nothing like what they advertise.
I need to get in touch with the GM to refund my entire stay. Checked into the room and found mold all over the bathroom, I am allergic and will not stay in anywhere that has mold. He offered to give me another room however I run the risk of being exposed to mold that I can’t see. I left and stayed somewhere else I understand that this was a nonrefundable booking, however under the circumstances There needs to be some accommodation. And The front desk won’t transfer me to the GM and refuses to offer any sort Help. Do not stay here, typical paint over the problem type of hotel, there are other places That are Affordable that aren’t covered in mold.
