Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dallas Plano

Hotel needs structural renovations. Room was clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was really good. Location is perfect for me. Easy to get to either a Preston or Plano parkway. Our room floor has a dip in it. You can hear the people above you walking. As well as when they shower. In our room it sounded like a pipe was dripping. It did stop after a few minutes but it was loud. Just needs some TLC.

This is the oldest and must run down Marriott property I’ve ever stayed at. The only saving grace was a very friendly staff. This one honestly needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Thin walls so you hear everything. Thin insulation between floors so it sounds like a heard of elephants walking above you. The floors in the room and the hallway aren’t even level. This is a no go.

Booked a ‘suite’ at $140 and walked into a room that didn’t match the category, the rate, or Fairfield’s usual standard. Outdated setup, mismatched room fixtures, and overall poor condition made it impossible to stay. Staff tried to be polite, but the property itself needs serious attention. Checked out immediately and left the issue for Corporate to review. Very disappointing stay.

At first glance this place looks a little run down. But after just a few, I realized it's just like me. Old bones but young at heart!! I slept well. The water was hot and all the drains worked. They have a pool, a gym, a laundry room. The staff is awesome and breakfast is worth staying the night for.

For the price it's a great hotel. They honor requests the best they can. The front dest people are some of the best. They remember you when you come back. It's a great feeling
