This is a very old motel. You are greeted by peeling wall paper in the lobby, old smell throughout, old carpet that is lifting. This motel requires some renovations. The room was creepy and they keep the doors locked so your only entry is the lobby. Surely that's a safety hazard. They keep the sofa bed sheets at the front desk instead of the room. That should have been a red flag. Don't book on a site and if booking here, request to view the room first! I paid for breakfast, but didn't get to take advantage of it, so I have no comments. They did clean the lobby as I witnessed first hand. The cleaning lady definitely did a phenomenal job wiping down every table,railing, and even tissue box. She deserves a kudos for doing a fantastic job with what she had to work with. I will say she cleaned every surface.

DO NOT COME HERE!! My boyfriend and I came here from Dec 21-23 early in the morning around 3am & already had a room that had a broken shower & when we turned the water on yellow stuff that looked like pee came out of it at first than turned clear which was disgusting to see & an inconvenience within itself with not being able to shower after a long day. The front desk guy gave us a new room at the first floor which wasn’t that much any better since the bathroom was dirty but we took what we could get and just wore slides while showering, we told the front desk guy about how much of an inconvenience this was already & he apologized and said he would note us down to speak with a manager on the day of check out (Dec 23). So on the day of check out around 10:45 (check out time is 11:00) another front desk guy name “Chets” came to our door asking if we were checking out or extending our stay, I told him we were using the bathroom and I was going to have my boyfriend go talk to him in the front about potentially extending our stay to just one more day in hopes of getting some type of discount or at least accommodation for our first inconvenience the day of check in. My boyfriend went around 10:50-10:55 to go talk to him while I stayed in the room waiting for him to come back & see whether we were leaving or staying another day. Without warning, no knock, no verbal warning, etc at all a worker just barged into my room and saw me butt naked while I was getting clothes on & stood there in shocked staring before finally exiting the room. I felt completely violated & mortified having a random person seeing me like that & to make matters worse there was a clear please do not disturb sign on our door indicating that someone was still in the room. After telling Chets ( the front desk guy) what happened along with my boyfriend telling him our previous inconveniences already, he was absolutely by far the WORSE worker I’ve ever had to deal & did not care to give us proper customer service, he gave a plain “apology” and said the most he could do is give us another night that would cost $70 for a member ( I’ve been a member for over a year now) and that was all. I showed him how the regular price for a member including taxes was $81.28 so to offer us only “$70 for the night “ was a complete slap in the face and a lack of respect, concern or even a sense of making things right for us after the multiple inconveniences we dealt with. All we asked for was a better discounted price if not one free night or to just talk to a manager higher up other than him, which he kept refusing to let us. I have on video the entire encounter & how terrible he handed the situated and provoked us by making it seem like I was lying about being walked in on naked & how despite the first guy said he would note us down to talk to a manager to accommodate our inconveniences. We repeatedly demanded to speak to a manager since he was being completely unreasonable & disregarding our situation not caring about customer satisfaction & service. Chets said that if we didn’t want to take the $70 for the night than we would need to leave by 12pm or he was going to call the cops, which was completely unnecessary & escalated the situation further than it needed to be when all we wanted was a manager!! He called the manager on his own phone on speaker and even the manager said out loud that the worker was supposed to knock before entering because you never know if someone is still in the room but he still wanting to be right refused to handle the situation properly & got someone else to call the cops on us even when we didn’t do anything wrong. Luckily we were cleared of any wrongdoings and was able to leave without criminal trespassing but CHETS needs to be held accountable for the way he handled everything and doesn’t need to be in this line of work. I DO NOT recommend staying here and definitely will be looking to purse further action because this was absolutely unacceptable & completely unfair to us.

From the very beginning of check-in I knew this was going to be a terrible experience. I stood at the desk for 25 mins before someone finally came out. Got into the room and it felt dirty, wet, and like they really didn’t care about investing $ in updating or cleaning anything. I had my 3year old with me as well. At about 10:30pm I realized that water was dripping from somewhere in the room. I went to the window and sure enough water was pouring in from the top of the ceiling all over the AC unit and floor. My 3 year old was asleep. I called down the front desk multiple times with no answer all throughout the night. By morning we checked out, which also had me standing at the desk for 20mins waiting for someone. I showed the guy at the desk the video I took of the water pouring in. He didn’t seem too concerned. I asked to speak to a manager. He ignored my request and checked me out. I was so furious and disappointed, but did not want to make a scene in front of my child OR the other unhappy guest that was standing next to me. I have tried to contact this property multiple times and can never get anyone besides Reservations. I’m sure by design. This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had, the worst customer service I have ever had and also the worst review I have ever had. I’m sure there will be some generic response that’s given to this review just like the countless others that I see. Do not stay here. There are other options around this area for the same price, if not better and you will enjoy your stay. I should have listened to my instincts when we first walked in and turned and went somewhere else. My son was so excited for his first hotel stay and I failed picking this one. I would like my money back, but after looking at the other reviews I’m sure that’s a shot in the dark. Calling corporate is next, if that even does anything either. This hotel should not be open for business and is an extremely poor representation of Choice Hotels.

Rooms are nice, but half cleaned, the rest room wasn’t cleaned (hair still in tub from previous person) staff very friendly, refrigerator wasn’t working and he made sure to get one that does. Too much hanging out around the hotel. That would make a person feel very unsafe, but I have my husband with me. Husband went to get ice and the scoop was broken nd cut his hand. ( this defiantly is a hazard, please fix) but overall for the price we paid. It’s not bad. Just need a lil tender, love and care done to property

The only redeeming qualities about thos hotel was the location and ease of checking my dog in. Besides that, terrible experience. The hotel overall felt dingy. The room smelt like dirty dog. Granted we were in a room for people who stay with their dogs but c'mon, clean it guys. To top it off we were forced to leave 4-5 hours early as the smoke detector started chirping due to low battery. This freaked out the dog and required us to just leave. We asked for some sort of compensation bit they best they could offer was another room for a few hours. I wouldn't recommend staying here and I will not be going back.
