Significant Events of Texas

I truly have no words for how beautiful and spectacular my wedding weekend was. I was utterly speechless. There is not a single thing I would change, and I know that I don’t even know all of the things Meredith and her team did behind the scenes to make every single one of my many dreams come true. She was a rockstar truly. And amidst coordinating all of it, she made me feel so beautiful and special. I am in awe of how she even incorporated blotting my sweat and bustling my dress, checking to make sure my husband and I had water or a drink at all times, and explaining everything we were doing so it went off without a hitch. This was the most stunning weekend I could have imagined.

I don’t even know where to begin. We love Meredith and Significant Events so much. I don’t think the planning process could have been more perfect. We had zero worries thanks to Meredith’s attentiveness. She let us be present and enjoy every single aspect of our engagement and planning! My wedding was a bittersweet ending to a wonderful 18 months of working with her. From the first time we sat down to explain our vision, she instantly took my ideas and provided genuine, beautiful options. I told every single person who asked about what helped us in choosing a planner, ‘She gave us the warm and fuzzies.’ She held our hands throughout this entire process, which was a blessing to us, and also to our families who are states away. As I reflect on our engagement, I owe it all to Meredith. She knew my taste than I did. She pushed us to think outside the box. She fought for us to receive the best deal possible. Many coworkers, patients, and friends asked how I somewhat maintained my composure and it’s because Meredith took the headache out of it all. My husband and I are overcome with gratitude.

I’m a Dallas wedding photographer, and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Rachel and the team at Significant Events of Texas for Matt and Julia’s wedding at Texas Discovery Gardens - and oh my gosh, they were AMAZINGGG😍 Rachel was super responsive leading up to the wedding day (even with how busy she was!), always happy to answer questions and help make sure we were on the same page. On the actual day, she worked so seamlessly with me to ensure I had everything I needed to get the shots Matt and Julia were most excited about. As a vendor, I was blown away by Significant Events of Texas! I had an opportunity to work with Taylor and the team the past weekend for an awesome couple's wedding, and they were amazing! Taylor and her team were organized and professional. They paid attention to details and made sure everything was perfect for the couple. The communication was great. Goodness gracious, the saddest thing about loving your wedding planner so much is that you ideally only need their services once. This has been a hard pill to swallow because now that my wedding is over, I really miss working with Meredith! We could not have had a better time at our wedding if we tried - a friend texted me a few days later and said "your wedding was the most fun I've ever seen you have" and it was all thanks to Meredith and her team at Significant Events of Texas. She made the planning process so easy, from recommending the best vendors to work with to keeping everything organized and on time. We did not worry about one single thing on our wedding day - she took care of everything beautifully and even as things came up (example, my veil getting left at the hotel!) they were handled immediately and without us having to think about them. PS, the veil was delivered to the church 15 mins after we remembered it was forgotten by a member of Meredith's team - talk about life savers. We had plenty of time to eat dinner which people will tell you won't happen at your wedding but they obviously didn't have Meredith as their planner ;) she also made sure our glasses were full all night long and brought us snacks and desserts as we danced so we never had to leave the dance floor, which I didn't except to cut the cake. There really aren't enough words to explain how wonderful I think Meredith is and how good she is at her job - I hope you will hire her to plan your wedding or your next event because I can guarantee you will thank me afterwards!
