We love What a Great Dog! They have helped with training two of our dogs and we have taken many of the classes with many of the trainers. We have also had a trainer travel to our house to help with a specific issue. All have been amazing, never a bad experience!
My Wife and I over the last two years? Took our two standard poodles to this dog training facility for manners and puppy classes, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Arwyn, one -year-old poodle, was quite energetic and had trouble focusing, but the trainer was patient and skilled in helping her learn. Rarity, our 7-month-old poodle, is still in training, but we've already seen improvements in her behavior. The trainer has been great at providing us with tips and techniques to continue her training at home, and we've noticed a significant difference in her listening and following commands. The classes themselves were small, allowing for personalized attention and individualized training. We appreciated the emphasis on positive reinforcement and the trainer's clear expertise in dog behavior and training. Overall, we highly recommend this dog training facility for anyone looking to improve their dog's manners and behavior. Arwyn and Rarity are both happier and better-behaved dogs thanks to the training they received here.
This little girl just started Manners 1, obviously we need help, lol. What A Great Dog is the best place to train your dogs. We have a German Shepherd that was trained here and he is an incredible boy. People ask us all of the time about his training. We highly recommend What A Great Dog!
Great training center, we are going through the manners courses to eventually try therapy dog training. The instructors are friendly and truly love teaching. They give great advice and consistent habits for your dog. Jean was great for manners 3! We did 1-1 agility and that was fun for Gus, but hard for us to consistently do with our schedule. The barn hunts look like good mental stimulation. The shop has tons of fun mental toys for dogs.
I've been impressed with every person we have been in contact with from the lady that did our "training readiness" session to Stephanie, our lead group trainer. They are all focused on your pet doing well, at the pet's own readiness level. We had a private lesson with Maureen, the owner of the facility and she was phenomenal! Our dog is a rescue and we needed to learn more about her triggers/traumas and we learned so much to help our dog. Carmen, who works in the retail shop, is so incredibly sweet too. Thank you all! It has been a great experience and we will continue to work with you all! - Christine, Randall and Annabelle.
