⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been a customer of Weir’s Furniture in Plano for years, and my most recent experience truly stood out. I recently purchased a desk with the help of Richard and Dirk, and from start to finish the service was exceptional. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely interested in helping me find exactly the right piece—not just making a sale. The entire process was seamless, professional, and enjoyable, which is why I continue to come back to Weir’s. It’s rare these days to find a combination of high-quality furniture and outstanding customer service, but Weir’s consistently delivers both. Richard and Dirk are a real credit to the Plano store. Highly recommend.
John Baker helped us and he was great. The perfect salesman, let us browse the store with his tape measure and did not hover over us. He was very knowledgeable and low key. Weir’s outlet has top leather sofas and we found exactly what we wanted with John’s help. A+ for both John and Weirs.
We purchased our sectional three years ago, and while it has held up reasonably well, the seat cushions and back pillows are starting to lose their shape. This raises concerns about the quality of the product, especially given its current condition. Additionally, I found the customer service to be less than helpful, as I had to take the initiative to follow up on the supervisor's suggestions. The warranty did not meet my expectations, and I feel that the investment may not have been worthwhile considering the appearance of the furniture. I was also informed that I could purchase inserts or seek stuffing from a fabric store, which was surprising.
Sue was amazing to work with. She wasn’t pushy and allowed us to take our time in making a decision. Once we decided what we wanted, the purchasing process was quick and efficient. Thanks Sue for all your help! We love our new furniture from Weirs!
I am disappointed in Weir's and will never purchase from them again. My best friend and I went to Weir's to look for chairs and rugs. It was in the evening and the store was winding down. They had rug swatches and I ended up deciding to purchase a large area rug for my living room. The swatch was small but I thought "well, I can always bring it back if it doesn't look good." Well, it ended up looking baby blue once it was in my living room and that isn't the color I was going for...I looked up the return policy (and was well within the time frame) and took it back. Once I got up there they told me it was a custom order and that it was not refundable. I told them that I was never told it was non-refundable. I wouldn't have spent $1200 on a rug by only looking at a small swatch. I am floored because its not like Weir's made this rug for me. They simply ordered it from their supplier. In this day and age, where you can buy anything online and send it back if it doesn't workout, I am simply amazed that Weir's would not let me return the rug. This is exactly why big box stores go out of business. I know for fact that the discussion was not had that this was a final sale because I simply wouldn't have taken the risk. Buyer beware...and order it from a place that will honor a return policy!!!
