Plano Event Center

This hot air balloon event was really cool. It was my first year going so I didn’t really know what to expect but it definitely was well worth it to be there on the morning of the lunch. The night before launch day traffic to the event was terrible. I’m not joking when I say I’m pretty sure I was in the car for three hours. My family came from Fort Worth to Plano and we were in the car for three hours. Trying to get in. Also, I don’t think it’s said anywhere to bring chairs or a blanket to sit on. But other than that, we had a great time. It really was beautiful.

Great Place for Concerts, events and Ceremonies. Their sound system to stage shows to performing arts makes this place so unique to enjoy the entertainment. This place has a huge auditorium with so many seats and a very big stage. Outside hallways are adequate with restrooms and shops which are very convenient. We definitely recommend this Plano Event center for great experience.

The place is very nice and big. I have a booth last Sat there. The restroom was clean during the event and they have huge parking. I saw they also host some kind of private event later the day across the hall. This is a great venue for big events in the area.

Visited for Texas Balloon Festival. It was an unique experience and would love to visit again. Kindly keep in mind that you need to step in and step out 3hrs timeframe along with actual event as there's a huge rush while accessing the area. Wish they fix the parking and accessibility issues. Physically challenged parking was very hard to find during the event as well and saw many elderly people walking around 1.2Miles. The space within the arena is wide enough for large audience. Have nice time here

A decent facility for conventions and other events. Parking is free. The facility can get a bit on the cool side as they are not afraid to run the A/C in the summer. Biggest drawback is the traffic on 75 but the event center is not right on the highway. Depending on the time of day, turning left when leaving the facility an be a challenge.
