This is the best planet fitness I have aver been to. The dumbbells go to 125 lbs and the machines are great and the staff is very nice .

I have been a Planet Fitness member for about a year and always paid my dues on time. Recently, I lost my credit card and my payment declined. When I visited the gym to resolve it the next day, I was surprised to see a late fee already applied. I approached the front desk to discuss it, expecting some understanding given my clean payment history. Instead, I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior from the staff, especially Humza. While I was speaking with another representative, he unnecessarily inserted himself into the conversation and spoke in a disrespectful manner. Despite explaining the situation, they refused to waive the fee in a polite or professional way. I paid both the membership fee and the late fee on the spot and immediately cancelled my membership due to the staff’s attitude. I value good customer service, and unfortunately the behavior at this location was extremely disappointing. Future members, please be aware of the front desk experience at this gym.

UPDATE - I went in and talked to the manager (not somebody I had spoke with before). He was very understanding and welcoming of my input and re-cancelled the membership (it showed in the system that it was cancelled previously, but didn't take) said he would get on it and see what he could do. 48 hours later my account was credited with several monthly refunds. for that reason alone, I am revising this to 4 stars as that is excellent follow through. I will edit it with his name when I go in to the location tomorrow to thank him in person, he deserves his kudos. EDIT- Manager's name is Kirk. Good dude. Since Planet Fitness took over for Texas Family Fitness, they have robbed me monthly of $11.13. I cancelled my membership when the transition took place and was told that also included my son's membership. I have been into the location several times and was told that it was fixed only to be billed again the next month or after a 2 month pause. To date, I haven't even asked for a refund, I just wanted them to stop billing me. However, at this point, I am looking at having to get a lawyer involved for this location as they refuse to stop stealing from me.

I should preface by explaining that I don't like the Planet Fitness chain. The machines in most Planet Fitness clubs feel awful and prioritze contracting muscles and not weighted stretches or full ranges of motion. Most Planet fitnesses don't have squat racks or decent leg machines. Lastly, most planet fitness employees don't bother to get to know you at all. This Planet Fitness, however, is different. The machines, for the most part, are great. The hack squat is fantastic, the belt squat is awesome, even the normal machines are at worst pretty great. And the employees actually talk to you every now and then (never during sets). One employee I have spoken with often, Humza, is very friendly. We talk about our cuts (weightloss), exercises, and activities outside of working out and working jobs. I have recommended this Planet Fitness to my friends and coworkers, and will continue to do so.

I love it here. I started coming to this planet fitness around 7 months ago and Humza was the first person to greet me. Now days I see Humza checking on all of us guests and making sure we're all doing well. It's enjoy everyone's attitude and demeanor (employee wise), and I think it all starts with the management.
