I had such a great experience at North Texas Dental Associates in Plano! From start to finish, Carolise (spell check) was incredibly welcoming and kind… she made me feel completely at ease. Her warmth and attention to detail truly stood out, and she provided exceptional care throughout my visit. Dr. Ross was equally amazing… calm, gentle, and professional. During my extraction, both he and Carolise made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, checking in often and explaining everything clearly. It’s rare to find a dental team that combines skill with genuine compassion, but they absolutely do. I left feeling well cared for and grateful. Highly recommend!

Prettiest and cleanest dental office! I’ve been going here and now my husband goes too. I recently took my two boys, both middle school age, here and they both had a great experience and said how nice everything was.

So glad I found this place! I am the WORST dental patient due to gagging. The whole office went out of their way to make it as pleasant as possible. Dr Ross did an amazing job on my root canal, extraction/bone graph and cavaties…all in one visit! (Of course I was out with IV sedation though 🤣) HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for all dental needs.

I had yesterday on November 6 , 2025 a very embarrassing and unpleasant experience with the office manager. She never even introduced herself before accusing me of owing them over $1,000 — which was completely incorrect. I immediately tried to explain that I had already paid in November 2024 for my two dental crowns, but she kept repeating that there was no record of any payment. This all happened in front of other patients, which was humiliating and stressful, especially knowing I was right. At one point, I mentioned that I had just paid $5,000 for an upcoming surgery, and her response was, “Oh, congratulations.” I found that comment incredibly insensitive and unprofessional, given the seriousness of my situation. I said is nothing to congratulate me for a mayor back surgery, and she responded oh well my husband has one of those . Eventually, I told her to call me once she had proper documentation showing that I owed anything and left the office. About twenty minutes later, I received a call from Stacy letting me know that it had been a mistake and that I didn’t owe anything after all. The least the manager could have done was to call me herself and apologize for her behavior. Because of this experience, I will never return to this office. No patient should have to deal with that level of disrespect or lack of professionalism.

Final Update: I ended up switching to a different dental provider, because there was so much back and forth with VA Community Care stating they faxed authorizations multiple times and North Texas Dental Associates stating they have received nothing and needed to cancel appointments again and again. Personally, not worth all the wasted hold time, which could’ve been spent more productively or having multiple appointments cancelled on short notice. Update: I genuinely appreciate the new office manager. She is grounded and level headed with open dialogue. Conversation is easy and she is willing to do a group calls to speak with the VA Community Care personnel to resolve referral numbers in a cordial manner. The VA can be quirky sometimes, but her working with them to learn and resolve issues is appreciated. Initial: I was leery about seeing a new dentist after 2 decades, but I had a fantastic experience from the get-go with everyone at North Texas Dental Associates. My referral came through the Veterans Administration, specifically, the Dallas VA Dental Clinic, which I had never used prior. The coordinator called right away & sent over proper forms so I could complete them ahead of time online and had me scheduled for an appointment, which was later moved up by a full week. Tracy, who is the coordinator for veterans at the office has been very informative and kept on top of everything from my initial treatment to my ongoing treatment plan, which included two crowns, a root canal and 2 fillings. All was approved by the VA Dental Team and taken care of within 2 weeks of my initial cleaning and consult visit. Tracy submitted with follow-ups and I maintained daily follow-up inquires with the VA in a coordinated team like manner. Dr. Ross is a very pleasant and meticulous man, which I appreciated and felt truly cared for by he and all of his staff members from check-in, to cleaning, to treatment and finally office personnel for all other details. I’m looking forward to my new crowns in approximately three weeks and celebrating with a steak afterwards. I could not be more pleased with my overall experience and fully recommend North Texas Dental Associates to all other Veterans.
