What a fun place! There are so many awesome Japanese products here. We were visiting the Dallas area from out of town, and we have nothing like this where we're from, so it was quite impressive. I love that there is a grocery store, food court and bookstore all in the same place. We got mochi, onigiri, a Pokemon book, takiyoki, takiyoki and gyu-don. I also like their map of Dallas, which showa you where to find other Japanese shops and stores!
Mitsuwa, this is the best Japanese Supermarket in Texas. They have a lot of variety to select of all Japanese products. The best part is Fresh Japanese Foods either from the grab and go section or from the food court itself. From grab and go section have a lot of fresh food like sushi, rice row, curry katsu, sashimi or bento boxes. It is so good. And they have about 4-5 restaurants in the food court as well. Definitely will come back. Thank you
Mitsuwa is such a gem in Plano! The store has a fantastic selection of Japanese groceries—everything from fresh produce and pantry staples to specialty snacks and drinks you can’t find elsewhere. The food court is a big highlight too, with some amazing spots for ramen, desserts, and coffee. It’s always clean, well-organized, and a fun place to explore. Definitely my go-to whenever I’m craving authentic Japanese products or a tasty bite to eat!
I'm definitely going to shop there again! ''Mitsuwa'' was so much more than I expected, the store is quite compacted, but it has so many departments, that you can find just about anything your heart desires. There's a food court that offers delicious Japanese specialties, not available elsewhere, like the matcha that is prepared by hand in the traditional way. There is a gaming arcade, and a wide variety of games for sale. Japanese books are available, too. And if you're an aficionado of the language, they even have the much coveted ''Genki'' books at a price that can't be beat. Everything I could see was imported from Japan, and that includes the meat and plenty of varieties of seafood. The milk is also made in Japan. An onside bakery offers fresh made ''Mochi Donuts''. And if you haven't tried those yet - treat yourself to one... or two... soon. The cute world of ''Hello Kitty'' is represented well in different departments, including the stationary and beauty areas, And for Manga and Anime enthusiasts, there is a books, puzzles, figurines galore.
When I want to feel like I am back in Japan, this is my go to place. I see all the goodies and my eyes start dancing with joy. The food court inside of this place reminds me of the great eats you can find in Japan, from ramen, tonkatsu, sushi and the like things. When shopping here you have a variety of choices your senses will short circuit with all that you see. Okay, maybe it was my sense that short circuited. I can go spend happy with the variety of goods. This place is very enjoyable and you will have a great time. Come get the taste of Japan, without leaving the great state of Texas. Hope to see you there.
