La Popular Panaderia

I picked up some tamales yesterday. They were steamy hot and so delicious. I am super picky about tamales, but these were soft and fresh. They also have Mexican goodies that you can’t buy in other places. It’s clean and the service is good.

The flan was dry and stiff, the tres wasn’t milky enough and had too much cream/icing. Fantastic service. This place suffers from what most call all flash no substance. The products look amazing but they didn’t taste as good as it looks.

Visited from Houston. It was clean. As soon as we came in, we were greeted and offered a sample of champurrado. A good variety of fresh bread. The champurrado was amazing!

Great panaderia! It’s in a kind of dead beat shopping center but don’t let that fool you. This place is nice, modern, and very clean. They have a huge selection of pan and they also make fancy cakes. For the pan you see on my picture of the tray, it cost $4 … so this place on top of everything is really inexpensive. Anyway. The pan is super good. I recommend this place.

This place has the best tasting Mexican sweet bread that I have come across since I've lived here! I've tried several places, and although there's many that are okay and some are pretty good this place is the best! The bread I've tasted so far has been very soft and will stay soft for a couple of days after you purchase it. The pieces are really great size, and I always have to cut them in half. The Prices range anywhere between $1.25-$1.50 each , depending on what you choose ( custard, fruit and/or kind) but very worth it. You won't be disappointed. Plus the assistant given is extremely kind and professional!
