Jack Carter Park

Great park! It has a large water park (Memorial Day to Labor Day), two well-maintained playing fields (soccer & lacrosse) and lots of open space plus five (I think) small, marked soccer fields - in season - for small kids. The park also has brand new walking paths (part of the City's Much larger Chisolm Trails) that are wide enough for bikers and walkers. Lastly, there's a large and well-equipped playground for small children. Except for the water park completed about 7 years ago, all the above has been completed in the last two years. A first class park and great place to spend time!

The park is amazing, with lots of benches. Parents have a shady spot. There are slides for children, a large playground for older children, and a wonderful spot for little ones. place for birthday and picnic

Great park love bringing my kids here. The park is very well maintained, nothing is chipped or broken. There are restrooms (can’t comment because I have never used them), playground with swings for all ages, several that you can reserve for parties or bbq, a fountain pond with turtles and a volleyball sand pit. People are very friendly; we have been going for years and never had any issues.

Nice park to rest while enjoying the walking trail. I do wish they had kept the pool at this location but it's still nice.

My son absolutely loves this park! He enjoys it every time we come, we’ve also brought his cousins with him before and they too enjoyed it . There is also a fountain right beside the park that has turtles in it. We love to go turtle watching after playing.
