This is such a beautiful little park to relax, have a picnic, walk around and then shop in downtown Plano. I imagine a fun place to have kiddos or anyone’s birthday parties. So many fun activities photo ops here too.
Fantastic atmosphere. We went there during celebration of start of the holiday season. highly recommended. If it were not for Covid, I would have been to this park at least a dozen more times. Here are the best parts (and I'd highly recommend everyone having at least one round to this park): - really spread-around, a vast place. very very suitable for a stroll with family. It's also very very clean and I especially love that - complete with a water-body and a bridge - ask any photo-lover what else s/he wants - play area (more about that in a later review) - a church to spend some quiet time with the lord - and my personal favorite are the food trucks during the celebrations :)
Great park with spaces for picnic, and playground for kids. Close to restaurants and other shops.
Great park but the homeless which there are quite a few make me slightly uncomfortable to let my young kids roam freely.
Came here to bring my three kids to play because this park has smaller equipment for children to play and a pond and old train to look at. The second I pulled up I noticed no other families were at the park and every bench was filled with homeless people. I didn’t feel safe taking my kids there because I know a lot of homeless people are just people who suffer from mental illness or drug addiction. If one of them went crazy, I wouldn’t be able to get out of there fast enough with three kids. So I decided for safety reasons I wouldn’t get out. I drove to Foxboro park 5 minutes away and felt very safe as there was other families there and no homeless people loitering. I won’t visit this park again. Plano has become homeless central.
