I had an awesome experience at GameStop last night! I dropped by around 10 PM, and the guy and girl working there went above and beyond. They were super knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. I wasn’t originally planning to buy anything, but their helpfulness and great customer service definitely earned a sale of a brand-new Xbox from me. The store was well-organized and clean, which made browsing through the games and consoles effortless. I’m definitely coming back for my future gaming needs!
I waited 30 minutes in the store to make one purchase of an item they had. After waiting 30 minutes while one person was serviced at the counter I decided to leave take care of something and come back only to find out after being gone for 30 minutes the same person was still at the counter being waited on I tried to wait another 15 minutes said this is too much and left the store. Please stop this store better on a Saturday so that customers can actually make purchases I am done going to the store though and will never go back again.
Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a GameStop in my life. Employees are disgruntled (maybe they don’t get paid enough, or maybe they’re taking their pent up aggression out on the collectibles they sell). It’s a huge mess, toys and leaves and tons of trash on the floor as if they don’t care. I saw one of the employees literally kicking stuff behind the counter and another one was throwing boxes around like they were mad for having jobs. Sad to see, and frankly extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch. Maybe if GameStop actually cared then their employees wouldn’t be so mad all the time.
WOULD NOT RECOMEND I went to GameStop and inquired about their trade-in offer. They informed me that I could trade in my console for a cheaper item. I explained that my console was clean and undamaged, and I expressed interest in getting a different color. They agreed but mentioned that we needed to run some tests on the console. If it passed, I would only need to pay the price difference. When I asked how much that would be, they told me it would be $17. I said okay and planned to return the next day with my console. The following day, I arrived to find a huge line. The cashier I encountered seemed quite annoyed. I explained the situation regarding my console, but she didn’t even pick it up. She entered the details into the system, and after I finished telling her what happened the day before, she simply said I would get $6 off my console. Keep in mind, she conducted no tests at all, despite that being a requirement for trade-ins. Two cashiers had informed me otherwise the day before. I don’t know what’s going on at that store, but they definitely need to address these issues. I believe the cashier who worked that morning should be let go. I won't be returning to this location, and I would not recommend it to others.
Came to this GameStop to sell some Nintendo DS Lite games. Selena handled the transaction. She was very helpful and friendly. I got more than I had anticipated for the games, so I was very happy. THANK YOU SELENA FOR MAKING THE TRANSACTION SMOOTH & EASY!!!
