Dr. Russell B. Skinner, MD

I was very impressed with this office and Dr. Skinner. I visited as a new patient, and he was highly recommended by another doctor. I went in with three very severe medical conditions which are being monitored by specialists, but with a need for continuous help from a primary care doctor that i was not receiving from a previous PCP. Dr. Skinner was very knowledgeable with all of my medical issues, and assisted me with various options involving ways to move forward until my conditions have been resolved to the point of no longer posing a threat. I cannot thank him enough and I feel like I can finally breathe again for the first time in years. I more than highly recommend this doctor for any of you searching for a new PCP.

Dr. Skinner and the team of doctors at this office are absolutely phenomenal. Their wealth of knowledge is matched only by their genuine compassion and dedication to patient care. They truly listen—taking the time to consider your thoughts, feelings, and concerns, and it’s clear they prioritize making their patients feel heard and understood. I had the privilege of seeing the in-house chiropractor during one of the toughest medical times in my life dealing with sciatica, and thanks to their expert care, I was able to get through it. I’ve also had the pleasure of seeing another doctor in Dr. Skinner’s absence, and she was equally exceptional—displaying the same level of skill and attentiveness. However, as much as the medical staff is a 5-star experience, the front office staff unfortunately does not reflect the same level of professionalism. From scheduling to handling referrals and answering general questions, the front office team consistently falls short. There’s a distinct lack of warmth, efficiency, and enthusiasm in their service, which unfortunately sets a poor tone before you even see the doctor. It feels like a pattern—every person who’s worked in these roles has had the same low-energy, lackluster approach to customer service, as if it’s ingrained in the job description. If this practice could improve the patient experience from the moment you walk in the door and elevate the front desk staff to match the stellar quality of the doctors, this would undoubtedly be a 10-star facility. As it stands, it’s a bit like “putting makeup on a pig”—a great experience with the doctors, but a rough start with the front office that leaves much to be desired.

Dr Skinner has been my Primary Care Physician for about a decade. Some things I will say…there has been turnover of staff for several years, BUT to me, he’s only been refining his staff. What I’ve come to notice is his current staff, which has been in place for at least a year, is without doubt the most efficient of almost any physician I’ve ever been to. What I’ve felt over the years is that Dr Skinner is perhaps the most empathetic, knowledgeable, , professional, and pleasant Doctor I’ve been to. My refills are taken care of usually the same day, no more than 24 hours. Whenever I’ve needed a referral, even if was needed within 24 hours, the front staff are ON IT. Overall, MY experience over the years at Dr Skinners office has been phenomenal, and I’d recommend him to anyone!

I recently became a new patient of Dr. Skinner. Not having any records on me or any information, he went right into action to make sure I had my prescriptions filled and refilled. They work with you payment wise and do take most insurance. Dr. Skinner is very popular and in high demand, so he is typically always booked for weeks or months at a time. Sometimes you will get in within a couple days. Dr. Skinner makes and keeps eye contact with you as your talking and will run late with every patient to make sure you're comfortable and he answers any and all questions and will provide the best solution. He isn't a pill thrower, but if you request, he will typically work with you. His staff is friendly and awesome. The phones not being answered can be irritating but that just means they're busy and that is a great thing to me. If you're reasonable, they will be reasonable back. I had to have a Pre-authorization and they took care of it same day, at the end of business. So easy and smooth to deal with. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Skinner.

I have dealt with MANY diff wellness companies in the past. This team and Alexis Baker, really know their stuff and have some cutting edge peptides that other offices simply do not have. They actually care and follow up when they say they will. If i could give 10 stars, i would. This place and the way they treat customers is amazing. I really do not have enough good things to say about Superior, Russell Skinner and his team, and Alexis really went the extra mile for me. I am uber appreciative and grateful for their assistance. RB
