Deep Cuts Dallas absolutely deserves 5 stars. We had been going to the same butcher for about 20 years before it closed, and after trying to find a new place that wasn’t too far, we were coming up short. My husband had found a couple of options in Plano, and we were actually on our way there when I decided to do a quick Google search (being the local guide that I am). That’s when I found Deep Cuts based on the amazing reviews—and we were pleasantly surprised by how close it was. As soon as you walk in, the shop is immaculately clean with a really cool look to it, and they were even playing great house music, which added to the vibe. Raul helped us and he was incredibly knowledgeable about all the cuts of meat. We were looking for certain cuts, and he walked us through everything with so much expertise. We ended up getting the tri-tip, the picanha, and the marinated skirt steak to try based on the reviews. We’re definitely coming back for the pork belly, and we want to try their Italian beef sandwiches during the week too. Raul mentioned we can always call ahead to make sure they have the cuts we want, which is super helpful. We were genuinely impressed with this butcher shop. Everyone working there was friendly and welcoming from start to finish. I haven’t seen a butcher shop like this since I lived in Chicago. This is officially our new go-to butcher. Five stars all the way.
Good Quality Meat. Some prices are a bit high in my opinion but their creative sausages are full of flavor ranging from $8.99/lb - $11.99/lb. Their Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Overall I really enjoy this butcher shop.
I like to grill steaks and after a a couple bad experiences with meat purchased from a local grocery store, I decided if I am going to put forth all the effort to grill, I need to make sure I’ve got quality meat to begin with. Deep Cuts is pricey but it’s quality!
Love this place. They had pop up shop aged beef burgers today...holy smokes they were amazing. I love picking up some green chili chorizo and other frozen game meat and more when picking up a main slice of something like 44 Farms Ribeye. Just all around amazing local spot.
This is a gold mine, the only butcher, my first time but definitely not my last visit. I am looking forward to trying everything they have to offer. My first impression was it doesn't smell like a butcher shop. It's so fresh and clean. There's no smell of death or raw meat. Do yourself a favor and stop by and look around. You will be very Happy with what you find.
