Collin College Plano Campus Library

As a medical student out of state, I am using this library to prepare for my board exams, I appreciate the cleanliness of the library, HOWEVER, the library staff use OUTSIDE voices whilst inside the library. It is NOT quiet whatsoever. I am used to libraries where the staff uses hushed voices. I had to stop coming or using headphones because it is not quiet library at all. I could literally use my phone and have a conversation and it would seem normal. Please be considerate of that fact that this is a library, and students are here for QUIET studying.

Love this place, great place for studying, clean and organized, most employees are kind. One day was getting preparation for anatomy exam an Indian student came and started watching the Bollywood movie online without even using his headphones. I was so annoyed and after bearing him for 40minutes had let him know it's a library not a media room.

I have encountered one of the library front desk ladies two times. The first time was last spring semester, which had just started, and the second was this afternoon. She is a young lady with long hair and no glasses. In both interactions, I found her impatient, and she answered questions with an attitude. As a student, I think it’s completely reasonable to seek help and ask questions when we need help.

rude staff, absolutely refuse to return to this campus for anything in the library. not peaceful study area at all, don't even bother trying to be here on a weekend. staff is short with students when asking questions or need help

It is a nice library. However, the staff are very obnoxious and very very LOUD!! They have no respect for the students attempting to study, and the echo of the building amplifies their laughs and personal conversations (which you can hear clearly 60 feet away). I do not expect them to whisper the entire day, but they make no effort to use their inside voices when helping students or when joking and talking to each other. I hope this changes soon.
