City of Plano Swimmers

If I could,I would give the staff a zero. If you are looking for a swim team, please pass COPS. They are the worst ever as far as being considerate, flexible and supporting their swimmers. All they care about is their own interest. I have had issues with switching my daughter’s practice just once because her swim meet is coming up this Sunday and she hasn’t been able to make it to the practice in the past two weeks. First of all, The COPS age group head coach Madi doesn’t allow her to go to practice with other groups. Then, I called them and they didn’t even care about the swimmers. All they care is whatever on their agenda. I know for a fact that the head coach let other kids practice with her group but for whatever reason my daughter is not allowed to even swim once with them. The only reason we ask to swim with her group is for car pool purposes. I call and complained and then they called me back saying that my daughter can practice with age group 3 which is a different practice time when my daughter cannot find carpool. Please reconsider your choice when you are looking for a swim team for your kids.COPS is not swimmer friendly at all.

My swimmer swam for 3 years here and was a good experience

The instructors are dedicated. However, it seems that evaluators are incentivised to put kids through fundamentals first. Making fundamentals only available in Rowlinson was a little set back to us. Its about 40 minutes drive. I wish fundamentals was also available in other locations for people from West Plano. It also needs a little upkeep. The showers have mold. We do not even like to go to restroom there.

Caring Coaching Staff, Level 4 Club team highest. My athletes swum for them for almost 5 years and had all of the Coaches including the Head Coach Ted. This team has stability and history in the area since 1972. We left for financial reasons or we would still be there. One of their swimmer was rude to my son at a meet and the coaches handled the situation very poorly!! So sad to see that.
