I had a very positive experience with Liz. This is my 2nd time having my hair done and each time has exceeded expectations. Her shop is very clean, they have very good customer service and she is a very efficient braider. I really like the fact the she honors appointments as my time is very valuable. I would definitely recommend her. She brings knowledge, professionalism, that you don't see in this day and age.

Took my son for a twist service. He has extra kinky 4c hair even i don't know what to do with it. Liz was very gentle, took her time rewashing my shoddy job, treating it with conditioner and making sure its soft enough so it doesn't hurt when parting and twisting, (he's a tender head btw). This boy could not stop grinning at the end of his twist. And the barber who did the fade, sensational. Love that this is a one stop shop . We went on a off day so the shop was not officially open, I would have done my nails as well. Definitely heading back on a business day. Even then, we still got service, very efficient and reliable

I took my daughter here to get her hair braided . The staff is very friendly its a clean kid freely environment they make sure you are comfortable. Mrs.Liz and her daughter are so sweet . My daughter hair is beautiful I would definitely recommend this salon for any of your needs if I could rate them 100 I definitely would because its worth it .

I decided to book with Caliz because she had early availability, multiple pictures, and she was very detailed in her descriptions of options. While I am not new to braids by any means, this is only the second time in over a decade. Names of styles and hair products have changed, and that makes booking hard! Especially given that many current stylists don't offer grace to their clients trying to figure it out without charging extra. Caliz setup her clients for success right from her page, telling you what hair is recommended for the look. I chose boho box braids with the knot, and it was clearly defined and differentiated from the knotless on the page so I could make sure I was booking correctly. Who knew knot braids would be so difficult to find in DFW in 2025. While Caliz did have an issue resulting in a late start, she did not rush her work and was very gentle. Braids were extremely neat and she took note of my problem areas I wanted to conceal. She made a point to explain her process to ensure it was consistent with what I wanted, including to make sure style was not too heavy for my hair. I have had these braids in for a week now and they look fantastic, no slippage or tangling. I highly recommend and will return. Thanks!
