I went to this location to take my teaching content exam. This location is a somewhat older building but it is kept clean. When I went it was a typical hot summer day for TX so the AC was on full blast and very cold - which was nice because I was wearing jeans and brought a jacket in case it was too cold. The other building businesses and employees seemed respectful and quiet; I did not hear them at all while taking my exam. I also did not hear the highway and that's important to note because it's very close to a busy highway. As far as the test proctor rooms, it was very small. There's a small lobby with a set of lockers and then 2 computer rooms where people take their exams. One computer room was very small and narrow with no window and only 1 row of computers. The other computer room which I was in was medium sized and had a window that had blinds covering them and 2 rows of computers. The desks are small and pretty close together with dividers - I used another testing location and I was not as close to other test takers as I was at this location but it wasn't too bad because the dividers were there. Computers were clean and seemed up to date. The chairs in my opinion were comfy, they were rolling chairs and had padded seats but I did notice a test taker who was on the heavier side that kept moving around in his seat and he seemed like he was uncomfortable and kept sighing loudly. With that being said, the only distraction I found to my exam was the other test takers. You can hear pencil writing, erasing, loud gum chewing and computer mouse clicking the whole time. The room I was in also had a pretty loud AC system but I'm not easily distracted so I was able to shut out all the typical test taking noises. If you are easily distracted you can ask for ear plugs from the test proctor. Maybe practice at home wearing ear buds while you study too so you don't feel like you have something foreign in your ears! (: Additionally, this location was different because if you needed to get up and use the restroom they asked that you just get up and take yourself to the restroom vs. the other location I've gone to asked you to raise your hand till the proctor came to get you. I'm not sure if that violates the proctors job duties but there's only 1 proctor at a time. While I was there, the proctors had a shift change and both were watching movies and eating while exams were going on from what I saw. The main reason I'm giving this location 4 stars and not 5 however, is because when I got to around question 93/100 my computer screen suddenly went black and I told the proctor and she basically ran back and forth from the front lobby and the testing room about 6 times trying to fix it and I felt bad because I bet she was distracting some people. The test proctor also didn't explain to me what was going on when it happened or what she was doing to fix it or if my timer was still ticking and then suddenly she moved me to a new computer and I felt flustered from that because I literally stood in the lobby and was watching her "panicky" reaction. It might just have been a rare occurrence - so I can't say how often this happens but in the end all my info was still there and saved. I don't think my timer had paused but I still had more than enough time to finish my exam. So, no harm, no foul! Would I take another exam here? YES. Would I recommend other people to take their exam here? YES. Best of luck to all those who are taking an exam here and I hope my review helps all of those who are as anxious and nervous as I was about new, unfamiliar places.

I have been to this location twice to take an exam and check in is always quick and the staff are always friendly. If you want to save yourself some time, make sure to leave everything out in your car except for your ID and car keys. No phones, watches, etc. are allowed in due to it being a testing environment.

This was the worst the worst experience I’ve ever had at a test site. After I started my test, the site administrators kept bringing other test takers in to start test all throughout the time we were testing. It was extremely disruptive. At one point the person sitting to the right of me was reading each question out loud and she reeked of alcohol. The administrators were having conversations with other test takers. i arrive at the site at 7:30ish. There was no one there to open the place up yet. For a moment To thought maybe I’m at the wrong place or got my dates wrong. I will never sit for a test there again.

Most of these proctor places are between mediocre and terrible. This was a comfortable environment, pleasant and professional people and good technology. They even separated those of us flipping through open book tests from those that didn’t, just so we didn’t distract the other group. Will be taking tests there in the future.

Clean place to take an exam. Good lockers for your purse. Clean bathroom down the hall. You better bring a sweater, because it is pretty cool
