Blacktip Swim School Plano, Murphy

Blacktip swim school was a great experience. I am writing this review after 1.5 years bring my son for swimming lessons. At the time of arrival (10 years old) he was just able to float. Now after all thus time he is able to swim all styles. During his time he was able to participate in a couple of very friendly competitions against another school (they call this "heat"). The entire experience, although is serious swimming is recreational. At this point, we are leaving the school going into a competitive type of school. At tgis point in life, my son outgrew his asthma and gain the skills needed to get easily into a competitive swim school. We extremely grateful to all the staff and coaches that made our entire experience a very positive one.

I joined Blacktip in 2024 to improve my swimming and to have a safe environment for my special needs son to practice his swimming skills. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them. All the instructors are very welcoming and friendly. Their heated pool did wonders for my arthritis. I am very happy that this facility is available for everyone to develop their swimming skills.

I decided that 2025 would be the year I finally improve my swimming, and joining BlackTip Swim has been a fantastic choice. Every coach I have worked with has been professional, supportive, and truly invested in helping me reach my goals. Coach Joel: Is patient and kind, always taking time to explain techniques clearly. Coach Ashley: Listens carefully and gives targeted feedback that makes a real difference. Coach Fran: Uses creative examples and metaphors that make proper form easy to understand. Coach Albert: Brings amazing energy and keeps every class motivating and fun while explaining each move with clarity. Each coach adds their own unique touch, and together they make BlackTip Swim an encouraging and effective place to learn. I’ve seen real progress and highly recommend them to anyone wanting to improve their swimming skills!

I had a great experience with Blacktip Swim School. The instructors are very kind, patient, and encouraging throughout the learning process. They take the time to guide you step by step, making sure you feel comfortable and confident in the water. Their patience and support really helped me improve my swimming skills. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to learn swimming at their own pace!

This was by far my son’s favorite birthday party. As soon as we got there they helped us setup and then sign waivers and hop in the pool for the swim test. Safety first! After that the kids got to swim for an hour and 15 minutes which was perfect. Albert was an excellent lifeguard and kept everyone safe while still having a good time and keeping the party atmosphere. The staff help the party stay on track and helped with setup and cleanup, it was awesome. This was an affordable and fun birthday party. A few of the moms that attended the party now want to have their child’s party there bc it was so efficient and affordable.
