Bear just encourages its poor employees to rip of the customer as much possible, I know, I scalped one of the best salesmen on my team from them and use to be their customer. The culture is horrid and the business model is a failure. They have horrible employee retention as every time I called I had a new account executive, and are in the business of charging a premium to move your freight while finding the cheapest, dirtiest, crapiest carrier in the good ol USA at a discount in order to move your freight. Bears growth over the past 8 years, not much. TQL's growth close to 20% per year, even in the recession. Numbers speak for themselves.
Very rude and unprofessional people. Had to load going into Midland, MI for delivery and never called us back to help get a driver unloaded that was there for 6 hours and counting still to this moment. They lie and say that the have called to help and was told that no one ever did call down to the receiver. They try to push us off as long as possible to ignore our plea for help. STAY AWAY!
Wrong business
