Baylor Scott & White Urgent Care+ Plano

Firstly, I currently work in healthcare and have been in the field for over 10 years. My first experience with walk in care was a positive one. Check in was very easy, front desk coordinator walked me through everything on the phone and then was polite and professional upon my arrival. Nurse that took vitals was friendly, professional and efficient. I really enjoyed my time with the physician that saw me. She was friendly had great bed side manner and made me feel comfortable. She Had a smile and great attitude the entire time I was there. Well done and thank you!

The technician that took my vitals was very kind and honest about company policies, but wouldn’t share how much longer we would have to wait. I can’t understand why there are appointment times if you are sitting and waiting like the ER. at least give the patients a heads up that you are running over an hour behind. I understand cases are unpredictable and some take longer than others.you ask the patient to be understanding in turn it would be nice if Baylor also valued our time. This isn’t the ER, I have an appointment so I didn’t expect to waiting over 90 minutes. I still haven’t see a doctor or NP. I’m in too much pain to leave but extremely frustrated. The review rating doesn’t align with the service I received.

I am very appreciative having this facility so close to home. I have a 7 year old with chronic ear infections and cooties along with my 80 year old mother whom often requires urgent care visits. Online booking is always easy they get us in so quickly. The front staff is ALWAYS kind and the NPs are quick

I’ve been to this Urgent care before and was very satisfied, but this time I was very unsatisfied and will not be going back. I had a 1 o’clock appointment and appears that they see their patients first come first serve so I sat for two hours before I even got to a room. If this is the way they handle their scheduling they should just say first come first. Once the doctor came in if she was in there two minutes that might’ve been a stretch. I felt like I really wasn’t seen and was just a number. If I cannot get into my primary care doctor going forward I will try to find another urgent care center.

If I could… I would rate this place as a fat 0 but 1 is lowest option. The lady at the front desk looked like she hated her job, lacked communication, never smiled one time. If you ask her a question, she looks like you with a dumb look on her face, as if she doesn’t want to help. The nurse practitioner that took us back to take my son‘s weight, height, and blood pressure was very condescending and rude and snippy. It made me absolutely cringe to have to speak with her. Next, was the doctor… She barely spent any time with us, and never told me what to do for my son’s pain. She just wrote us off and said my son was able to go to school the next day without telling me what to do for his level of pain. When we decided to buy the boot, none of the staff seem to know how the pricing worked and if insurance would pick it up or not, they seem completely clueless and the nurse that helped us with getting the boot on, seemed like she was rushing us, and seemed very annoyed. This is the same nurse. I spoke about earlier. Her name started with an A I believe. This is the worst experience I have ever had visiting any doctor’s office in my entire life. I have three children and never once have I been treated this terrible or had this horrible of an experience at a doctors office that should be nothing but professional. We will never return to this location until they replace their staff with people that know how to smile and have a good bedside manner. This location is a absolute disaster and I will make sure that I let anyone and everyone know in my community along with my friends and family to never visit this place unless they want to be treated like garbage and greeted without smiles. I am extremely disappointed and incredibly dissatisfied. However, I would highly recommend using their virtual appointments. The nurses that are virtual are incredibly amazing, sweet, caring, and seem to know what they’re talking about. I have never had a bad experience online. In my opinion, someone from that office should be calling me to apologize. No further comments!
