AMLI West Plano

Amli the unethical, looting mafia!! I lived at Amli west for 5 years and my overall experience was generally good especially with the maintenance team. However, the minute I said the word ‘move out’ everything went down the hill. First off, I paid at least $300 more rent for my apartment than the rest of the similar units in the building and the rent kept going up every year throughout my residency. When I asked them why I am being charged extra, the response was, since you are an existing resident, your rent has to go up every year ‘per company policy’ so I stayed quiet. Last year when I decided to move out, I gave them a 60-day notice which according to my lease agreement was not required without any penalties. However, Amli did not honor any of the written agreement terms and made me pay a so-called re-let fee of over $2000 calling it again the ‘company policy’. For the past 5 months I kept paying the monthly rent even after moving out because apparently, the apartment was not rented until this past week which is exactly when my lease ended and now they have sent me the final bill with one full month’s rent still pending on my end. I called the Amli office and asked for an adjustment/credit of that $2000 additional payment since I practically completed and paid for the full term of lease but the person (Courtney) on the phone was extremely rude and irritated by my question. There was a lot of background noise and it sounded like she was cooking or cleaning and she was not interested in listening to what I had to say. She literally hung up on me without providing any insights but saying guess what! ‘it’s company policy’.

AMLI West Plano is one of the nicest properties. The office staff (Joycelyn, Cidney, and Nicole) are some of the friendliest I have encountered. They always go the extra mile to make sure the property is clean, fun (they have monthly activities for residents) and welcoming (there is also a free coffee/tea station in the office). Super happy I moved here …. Also the location is literally 🔥

We have lived here for 4 years - with minimal issues/concerns. Maintenance staff is attentive and timely. Nicole, community manager, is professional, friendly and efficient. Great place to call home!

Nobody seems to know what’s really going on in this apartment complex or who’s actually in charge. I got the keys on the 21st of last month, and I still haven’t been able to fully move in because of the unprofessional behavior of the manager and staff. Meanwhile, I’ve paid everything in full and have been forced to rent another place on a daily basis — at my own expense — just to wait for them to do their job. Now the manager has sent me an email trying to cancel the lease starting next month — without any mention of refunding the money I already paid. Sorry, but it doesn’t work like that. My time, money, and mental health are not here for you to mess with. If needed, we’ll take this to court and let a judge decide what’s fair. I asked the manager to provide contact information for corporate — she refuses. Apparently, transparency and accountability don’t exist here. There’s also an employee named Jocelyn whose only real focus is pushing fake 5-star reviews. She spends her time asking for them, or worse — writing them herself If you don’t leave a fake review, she stops responding altogether. That’s the kind of management you can expect here. This place is a mess — inside and out. Inside, you’re dealing with poor management and disrespect. Outside, there’s no privacy, constant noise, heavy traffic, and the smell of grease and burnt food from nearby restaurants. It’s unbearable. Please, don’t come to this nightmare. Plano and Frisco are full of beautiful, well-managed apartments with professional staff who actually care. The moment you see this company’s name — run. They will waste your time, drain your energy, and treat your money like it means nothing. Don’t trade your sanity for a $100. It’s not worth it. If this place actually has an owner or corporate leadership that cares, I suggest you contact me — because right now, it’s absolute chaos.

I have been a resident at AMLI West PLano for about five years and I do enjoy living on this property the Manager Nicole is absolutely professional smart and really knowledgeable about how to handle and run AMLI all of the leasing agents are very professional and attentive to your apartment needs and the maintenance crew does a great job and Edgar runs his department really well and knows how to address his problems in a timely manner. I will close this with I would want to choose any other property then AMLI West Plano.
